28 = new favorite number

I usually don't really understand why people have a favorite number. I mean, what is the point? I can understand having a favorite color, favorite month, favorite food. But number?

I strongly dislike numbers. When I think of numbers, I think of algebra. The quadratic formula. Pre-calculus. Equations. ARITHMETIC aka MATHEMATICS. YUCK. Those should be considered curse words.

As you can see, I loathe math and numbers with a burning passion. Hence the reason why I majored in something that required no math whatsoever and LOTS of writing. Love words. Hate numbers.

Anyway, I apologize for the rant. I am now about to totally contradict what I just said because I am confidently declaring that I now have a favorite number... and that number is 28!

I just realized that today is February 28th. Do you know what this means?

For those of you who don't, it has been exactly two months since THE proposal! I cannot believe how fast the time is flying. Two months prior to this moment (10:48 a.m.) I had no idea I was about to be the future Mrs. Bohannon. My sly little fox of a fiance did such a marvelous job of surprising me :) Just what I wanted!

The other reason why I fancy the number 28 is because in exactly three months from today, I will officially be Mrs. David Bohannon. Well, technically sometime after 6:30 p.m. tonight I will officially be Mrs. David Bohannon. May 28, 2011. We didn't even plan to have the wedding on the 28th day of a certain month. It just sort of happened that way. Sweet!

I imagine in exactly three months from right now I will probably be spazzing out- rushing around town with my mom, getting my hair or makeup done or something of the sort. Or perhaps I'll be enjoying a relaxing lunch at a quaint bistro, dining on a crisp salad. Who knows. All that matters is that there are three months until the wedding!

I love my fiance.
